Introducing one of our biggest projects of the year - Amazon Chesapeake! Hurricane Fence has been working with Alston Construction on two new Amazon facilities in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area & this project is a little special to us -- the first time we've installed a sound wall with this innovative new Durisol NB15 material. Our partners over at Durisol offered great guidance to our team and were there to help every step of the way. Instead of using full concrete slabs - this Durisol material is a new & innovative way to offer the same privacy, sound protection & amazing look as concrete would without the hassle. Our team had no reservations in terms of installation & the project went off without a hitch!
Along with the 1,000LF of NB15, our crews installed over 4,500LF of black vinyl coated chain link fence with multiple double drive gates. This fencing was put in place for the primary purpose of security. A majority of it was placed around the perimeter of the Amazon campus, but some of it was included around HVAC units around the property. This product was in conjunction with Stephen's Pipe & Steel, one of our long time & most trusted vendors.
