Welded Wire Fence

Welded wire or wire mesh fences are utilitarian and used for many general-purpose enclosure solutions. Welded wire fences are similar to chain link fences but have square gaps that are hard to climb. Strength, high functionality, and low maintenance make welded wire fences a strategically cost-effective commercial fence solution. Common uses include public buildings, parks, nature reserves, and buildings that require high-security functionalities such as prisons.

Welded wire fences are steel wire strands, welded together to form a solid mesh material. During manufacturing, the wire is layered in a horizontal and vertical pattern, creating square or rectangular spaces. While a simple chain link fence enclosure could be cut and subsequently breached, a welded wire fence ensures that the wires will not unravel from one another, keeping its integrity.

Common Options

Powder Coating

A popular finish for welded wire fences is a powder coating. As the name implies, its a free-flowing, dry powder. Powder coating is applied electrostatically and cured under heat. It melts and forms a strong polymer. A powder coating finish is harder than a paint coating. Like paint coating, however, powder coating comes in a variety of different colors.
